A trained product designer and skilled maker, Chris Delia has worked for some of the most established design-led furniture brands both within Australia and overseas.

Having always had an interest in design, he spent his early twenties travelling the world and gaining experience working with different materials. From building racing boats out of Carbon Fibre to crafting and installing leather interiors for luxury homes and yachts. All of these experiences have informed his design practice. 

Having chosen to focus on designing and making furniture in his late twenties, he eventually returned home to Geelong with the desire to make furniture and lighting that was Australia made and Australian inspired.

Chris runs Sundown Lighting in collaboration with his partner Stephanie in his home-town of Geelong. Stephanie and Chris are balancing running this new business with raising their daughter Marnie, a constant challenge but they wouldn't have it any other way.
